In 2022, I discovered that my grandfather, Angelito, wrote a book called, In Search of New Life. It was about his dreams to migrate and his journey from the Philippines to Canada. 

With this project, I was thinking about migration stories from others and their experiences. I reached out to all of my family members who agreed to participate in this project and printed an 8-page broadsheet newspaper that is a collection of my family’s stories in search of that new life.
