This installation is called Object as Atlas.

You can define space in many different ways, they are transitional or transformative spaces. They are the waiting areas between one point in time and space and the next where you can embrace the tension between now and the next thing.

Reflecting back on my time sitting at the airport waiting for the Department of Homeland Security to grant me access into the United States and my journey thus far, I looked back at the recorded time on my I-94 which is the Department of Homeland Security’s Arrival/Departure Record for Aliens.

The complex and paradoxical atmosphere of public spaces that facilitate travel are cold, emotionally charged, dehumanizing yet full of personal experience. You can define space in many different ways. Liminal spaces are transitional or transformative spaces. They are the waiting areas between one point in time and space and the next.

Seeing my US journey transformed into objects has made me become fearful of what I have accomplished. I am re-defining the archive to allow my viewers to gain insights into the life I have lived.
